THE ROLE
This is an integral role within the organisation, responsible for the development and strengthening of the team's relationships and collaborations with new and existing community organisations, employment service providers, employers, and relevant organisations. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, Sales, and Service, a key focus of the role is to identify training opportunities for priority cohorts, including those who are marginalised or who have limited access to services. This role is suited to a passionate individual, that can effectively balance both community engagement, with sales and relationship-development.
THE DUTIES
* Build and strengthen community and industry relationships to ensure the organisation is responsive to community needs
* Actively engage with key stakeholders to develop and promote products and services with a community focus
* Increase enrolments and place-based group training sessions
* Develop new partnerships through a variety of channels e.g. attending forums, calling prospective leads, holding face-to-face/virtual meetings
* Maintaining and updating the internal CRM and activity reports accordingly
* Assist the wider internal sales team where required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* 2 - 4 years of experience within sales/business development, relationship/partnership growth, student recruitment, community engagement, or a similar environment
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
* Tech savvy, organised, resilient, and collaborative in nature
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to engage and relate to a diverse range of people
* Previous education/RTO exposure, or an understanding of VET compliance/pathways will be highly regarded
* HubSpot or Salesforce experience highly regarded
The successful candidate will undergo both a Police Check, and the process of obtaining a Working with Children Check (WWCC) if they do not currently possess one. The successful candidate must also have a valid driver's license, and their own vehicle.
