Part-Time: 15 hours per week (Temporary maternity leave cover: 22 April – 19 December 2025)
Salary Package: $36,666 per year + superannuation, car, phone & laptop

Destination Country & Outback NSW (DNCO) is one of seven Destination Networks dedicated to strengthening regional tourism. We work alongside Destination NSW, industry leaders, and local stakeholders to enhance visitor experiences and drive tourism growth across 45% of the state.
As our Industry Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting businesses, fostering partnerships, and driving industry innovation across our vast and diverse region.
What you'll be doing:
1. Industry Engagement & Support – Build strong relationships with tourism operators, councils, and government agencies, offering insights and support.
2. Training & Development – Organize workshops and mentoring initiatives to strengthen industry capability.
3. Grants & Investment – Help businesses and stakeholders access funding opportunities and prepare competitive grant applications.
4. Tourism Advocacy & Strategy – Provide insights to Destination NSW and support marketing strategies that promote our region’s unique experiences.
5. Project Management – Oversee industry development projects and ensure key outcomes are met.
What we're looking for:
1. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
2. Experience in tourism, destination management, or business development.
3. Ability to work independently while collaborating with key partners.
4. Proven experience in project and budget management.
5. A passion for regional tourism and an understanding of industry challenges.
