About the role We are looking for an experienced Wintel Engineer, to work under direction from the Applications & Environments Lead to develop, build, configure, support, maintain and document key components of a Defence stand-alone network for implementation into a production environment.
About you Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Assist in the development, support and maintenance of a Defence stand-alone network, including: Build and configuration activities Patch and Update activities Development of Build Instructions Assistance to Solutions Architect on product design Collaborate with other developers and the security operations lead to ensure successful systems integration and compliance to security best practices Conduct work in accordance with the Project Agile Methodology, including maintaining JIRA and participating in stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives Requirements: Highly Desirable: SOE Builds – Windows 10-11/Server 2019-2022 VMware Horizon 8 Patching - Tanium/MECMSCCM/MECM Active Directory Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Windows 10 Windows Microsoft SQL McAfee/Trellis EDR/Allow-listing Firewall rulesets o ACSC Essential Eight and Hardening Desirable: Log Management and Reporting with Splunk Veeam Backup VMWare – Cloud Foundation Products (VCF) & vCenter o Certificates Ability to maintain security awareness and implement security best practices i Experience in Agile development environment Experience in developing Build Instructions (BIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ability to problem-solve, conduct root-cause analysis and implement solutions in support of system maintenance and incident management Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively with technical leads & project management and meet project deadlines Ability to independently learn new concepts and skillsets and improve upon existing technical knowledge NV2 clearance is mandatory Why Fujitsu?
