We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (working out of Mitchell, ACT or Sydney Olympic Park, NSW) to join our aspiring national HR team on a 8 month Parental Leave appointment as we embark on driving value added change to support the company’s growth and expansion plans. What we need We need an experience HR practitioner with the following skills and experience: Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and operational HR practices. Solid understanding of the Australian IR landscape and proven exposure to managing unfair dismissal claims. Proven experience managing employee relations matters and conducting investigations. Proven experience using HR systems, preferably Employment Hero. Proven experience liasing and working with business unit heads and line managers regarding people matters. What you’ll do As our ACT/VIC HR Business Partner, you will: Support the business in Industrial relations matters, such as Unfair Dismissals Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, team cohesion, productivity and overall workplace culture. Work with the broader HR Team to identify and prepare for major organisational change. Through effective coaching and support, drive performance and behaviours Oversee the employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive experience for prospective, new and existing employees. Support managers monitor achievement of KPI’s and proactively address any performance or engagement issues. Build solide relationships through strong leadership, influencing and problem solving skills.
