To learn more about us, please visit our website.The Senior Purchasing Officer provides a range of professional and high-quality administration services to support the effective operation of the Purchasing Services Team.Reporting to the Purchasing Services Team Leader, this role will be responsible for:Implementing and delivering a range of effective administrative tasks including facilitating the purchasing process, providing services, responding to purchase queries and advising on policy and process in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes.Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and end users.Reporting and monitoring Purchasing to Payment compliance in accordance with University policy and procedures.Managing the end to end purchasing life cycle in line with University compliance and policy and procedure.About YouThe successful candidate will have:Excellent administrative skills with a strong attention to detail.A thorough understanding of the Purchasing to Payment life cycle, compliance, policy and procedure, tax laws, GST, FBT, as well as credit card acquittal.Well developed written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of clients and respond positively when resolving issues.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and manage workload to effectively meet deadlines and milestones.About Monash UniversityAt Monash, work feels different.
