A tradesperson with several years' experience in either mechanical or electrical fields, who is ready to take your career to the next level and join transition to renewables.With a background in site outage management within a heavy industrial environment, you bring strong commercial and business acumen to support outage and resource planning, budgeting, and cost control processes on large-scale projects.You keep safety front of mind and can provide leadership in the space while promoting quality of work and time management, while connecting the team to being part of something BIG!In addition to a Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification and/or an Engineering Certificate, a Certificate IV in Frontline Management or relevant leadership experience is essential.You will also need a valid driver's licence and strong computer skills.About the role: To put it simply… you will provide overall site management as our Major Works program focuses on assets on the North and West Coast of Tasmania.This will involve heavy involvement in the refurbishment of hydropower assets that have been operating for over 100 years!As a Site Manager, you will be…Providing support to the Delivery Manager in relation to outage completion: on time, to budget and to scope,Work with Outage Managers and Production Managers to support the efficient use of resources and state-wide work plan priorities,Managing technical, operational and contractor personnel,Participate in Hazard and Operability Studies (HazOpS)Be a key point of contact pre outage, during outage, commissioning, handover, and post outage.Ensure that all JHA's, take 5 and SWMS are in place and adhered to.More information can be found on the attached Position Description.Haven't convinced you yet?
