Aged or Disabled Carer / Personal Carer

Our client, Duggal Services (Healing Hands Complete Care) is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to patients across Sydney and regional NSW. HHCC prides themselves on a compassionate, patient-centred approach that values the dignity and well-being of every individual. They are currently seeking multiple (7-10) experienced Aged or Disabled Carer / Personal Carer to join their team on Full Time basis in Sydney and around.
Position Overview:
As a Aged or Disabled Carer / Personal Carer, you will provide essential support to HHCC nursing staff and patients, ensuring a high standard of care. This role is perfect for a compassionate individual with valid certification and experience who is eager to make a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
•Assist with mobility and physical support, including the use of mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers).
•Help with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring nutritional intake, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
•Support clients with medication management, administering medications according to prescribed plans.
•Assist with light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
•Follow care plans tailored to individual needs, including clients with disabilities or chronic health conditions.
•Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering social engagement and mental well-being.
•Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to healthcare professionals or family members.
•Assist clients with rehabilitation exercises and basic physical therapy as directed by healthcare providers.
•Promote independence and dignity by encouraging clients to participate in daily activities where possible.
•Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control measures.
Must Have:
•Certificate III or higher qualification in related field.
•Atleast 2 year of experience in a similar field, preferably in aged care, hospital, or healthcare settings.
Skills Required:
•Strong understanding of patient care practices and protocols.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.
•Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
•Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000 Plus Superannuation.
