The Opportunity
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Graduate Engineer to join our highly professional and skilled Estimating team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role that supports and encourages you towards a rewarding career within the civil construction industry. This is a full-time position that will see you working across the office in Helensvale with the Estimating Team, and project sites to gain valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities
* Attend site visits with Senior Estimators and clients for new tenders including inspecting existing projects for SEE Civil.
* Responsible to download and prepare job files for new tenders in accordance with the IMS policies and procedures.
* Assist in the procurement and collating of tender packages for suppliers and subcontractors. File and manage incoming quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and carry out subcontract comparisons inclusive of exclusions and inclusions.
* Assist with executing tender returnable documentation including but not limited to capability statements, methodology, programming and project specific plans.
* Assist with the collation of tender submissions for projects.
Essential Skills and Attributes
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or similar.
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
* Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
* Computer literacy, particularly experience working with the MS Office Suite.
* Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
* High attention to detail.
