FIFO or Residential - Diesel Fitters & Heavy Vehicle Mechanics MAK Diesel and Earthmoving – Mount Isa QLD Due to our continued growth, MAK Diesel & Earthmoving is seeking experienced and highly motivated Diesel Fitters and On Highway Truck Mechanics for our 2 Workshop Facilities located in Mount Isa, QLD .The successful applicant will have the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, working in a dynamic and challenging environment with a high focus on quality workmanship.About The Company: MAK Diesel & Earthmoving is an established QLD business offering specialized services such as diesel fitting, boiler-making, line-boring, spray-painting/sandblasting, and machinery sales & hire, spanning over multiple well-equipped workshops in Mount Isa and Townsville – the latter of which was established in early 2019 as a dealer for Case Construction and Wacker Neuson Construction Equipment.We pride ourselves on quality of work, industry knowledge, and trained & skilled employees, as we forever aim to improve our processes of maintaining and supplying plant & equipment to our customers across the great state of Queensland.Key Responsibilities & Duties: Work in with others and be a part of the close-knit team we have here at MAK Diesel & Earthmoving.Complete repairs/rebuilds/component overhauls to a high standard of quality.Have a good eye for diagnostics and troubleshooting.Cat Underground Equipment experience highly regarded.
