Join RACQ’s established, high-performing Change Management team. Our purpose is to predict, plan, and support successful delivery of the people side of change across RACQ’s transformation programs and projects.
1. As a Change Manager, your role will focus on preparing our people for new ways of working. You will need to be prepared to engage RACQ’s executive, business leaders, subject matter experts, and end user groups to enable seamless deployment of programs and projects. You need to be able to break the change down into meaningful language and keep the team in sync with the tempo of broader RACQ life. Taking steps to embed changes so that quickly become the ‘new normal’ is also key to this role. Lead change management activities in accordance with RACQ’s Change Management Framework, including but not limited to: change impact assessments, stakeholder identification and mapping, and change readiness assessments etc, to understand the change and guide change management planning.
2. Lead change management activities aimed at enhancing business performance with minimal disruption to BAU operations and the Member experience.
3. Build project change impact understanding and change management capability across RACQ through development of materials to support and coach stakeholders.
4. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the Change team and take the lead on relevant improvement initiatives.
5. Assess the readiness of individuals and teams for change and provide support during go-live and hypercare activities to ensure a smooth transition for everyone involved.
6. Proactively identify, register, and plan for any anticipated resistance or other change and people-related risks Implement effective control and mitigation strategies to address these risks.
About you
7. Comprehensive knowledge of different change management theories, approaches, tools, and best practices.
8. Extensive change management experience working on complex, large scale projects and programs.
9. Outstanding abilities in both verbal and written communication.
10. Established proficiency in problem-solving, strategic thinking, influencing, and negotiation.
11. Demonstrated expertise in guiding, influencing, and coaching senior executives and business leaders through diverse change scenarios.
12. Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and fostering rapport.
