Contract opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Investment Management Finance team at our Sydney Head Office. This position is a full-time 6 month Maximum Term Contract.Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 + superThe OpportunityIn this role, you will work alongside key accounting teams (both internal and external) to partner with the Business in delivering accurate financial results for the Investment Management portfolio (Retail, Workplace and Logistics property). This includes providing accounting advice when required and ensuring the portfolio is compliant with all regulatory responsibilities.Key responsibilities will include:Financial Accounting and Reporting of the Asset portfolio.Assist in preparation of monthly, half-year, and year-end financial results including accruals, journal entries, management reports, cashflows, balance sheet reconciliations, and Capex.Prepare Profit and Loss, variance analysis, and provide commentary.Prepare monthly, half-year, and full-year regulatory requirements for submission to teams such as Tax and Statutory Reporting (BAS, STI).Assist in forecasting processes, as well as identifying and escalating opportunities for process improvement.Assist with year-end audit process.Enhance organisational effectiveness through continuous improvement and innovation.Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).Actively engage in Stockland's sustainability programs and support the delivery of a community and environmental shared value proposition.About YouCA/CPA/CIMA accreditation advantageous.Minimum 1 year experience in management and financial accounting in a similar role (Essential).Experience in managing varied stakeholder relationships (Essential).Experience in preparing monthly financial results (Desired).Property experience (preferred).Technical experience in SAP, Anaplan, or similar (Desired but not necessary).Demonstrated understanding of accounting standards and principles.Well-developed communication skills - can express ideas, both in writing and verbally.Builds constructive working relationships characterised by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect.Can solve problems and make decisions through properly understanding issues, referring to relevant data to draw conclusions, effectively determining the best solution and taking action accordingly.The Stockland PropositionAt Stockland, we are a community delivering outcomes that benefit the community at large.
