About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer & Data Scientist to join the Monash IRT team. Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions for railway-related engineering and data analytics projects. Key responsibilities include: Developing algorithms and performing advanced numerical analyses. Designing and implementing data collection, analysis, and condition monitoring systems aligned with Industry 4.0 principles. Managing technical projects, including developing, testing, and operationalising data products/capabilities. Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to fulfil project objectives and build strong industry relationships. About You You bring a solid foundation in software development and data science, with the ability to design and deploy data-driven applications, especially relating to IOT systems.
