As part of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Access Team, the successful applicant is required to work within a multi-disciplinary team, conducting a range of assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, care coordination and education on issues relating to addiction and treatment options to staff, clients, and family members including other agencies and community services using evidenced based practice.
The successful applicant is required to have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and Alcohol and Other Drugs theoretical frameworks. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.
