About the Role: Senior Financial Accountant As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll report to the Financial Controller and play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our financial data and reporting.
In our collaborative and fast-paced finance team, you'll contribute to key finance transformations, influence process improvements, and help shape our financial strategies.
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid, with flexible working options) Key Responsibilities Drive improvements in core month-end processes with accuracy and efficiency Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity in Blackline Compile statutory accounts (quarterly, half-year, and annual) Assist the Head of Tax in tax compliance initiatives, including FBT, GST, and income tax Support group audit activities and maintain internal financial controls Act as a key liaison with other finance teams to streamline processes Maintain and enhance our ERP system Skills & Requirements Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA qualification with 7+ years' experience (Big 4 background preferred) Strong knowledge of IFRS and advanced technical accounting skills Hands-on approach with an ability to adapt and embrace new processes Proven experience in finance transformation and control Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience advantageous Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for influencing stakeholders What We Offer An opportunity to shape your career in a global fintech company with a supportive, flexible, and growth-oriented culture.
