The Role Would you like to be a part of our new program providing Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) to our younger students?
We have multiple opportunities based at our Malvern Campus and we're looking to build an astounding team of dedicated and passionate OSHC Co-Educators.
Reporting to the OSHC Manager you will assist with providing a service that fosters a wide range of indoor and outdoor recreational activities and create a welcoming and safe environment for our students.
OSHC Co-Educator (Lunch Cover) In this permanent ongoing position, you will be supporting the ELC by providing lunch cover each day during the hours of 11am – 2.15pm before collecting our students for the OSHC program where you will be delivering high-quality activities for children which are safe, fun and stimulating from 3pm – 6pm.
OSHC Co-Educator The OSHC Co-Educator can part-time or casual, from 3pm – 6pm, and may vary during the vacation program.
Working with the team to deliver high quality activities and assist with creating safe and fun environment, while acting as an appropriate role model.
Key Duties : Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of a stimulating and diverse program relevant to the developmental needs of children attending the service, including those with additional needs.
Assist with maintaining program resources effectively and ensuring that the program venue is tidy and maintained at a high standard.
Establish and apply appropriate guidelines that encourage positive behaviour.
Contribute to the developmental records for each individual student, both written and verbal, under the guidance of the teacher Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviour Skills and Experience: Experience with children under the age of five years and/or school aged children, delivering children's indoor and outdoor activities in an OSHC or vacation care program environment.
Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Diploma Out of School Age Education and Care or qualification recognised by ACECQA Current First Aid Certificate Level 2, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Asthma training Any exposure or certifications related to Food Safety Handling would be a great advantage.
