Emergency Medicine Registrar
About the Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team at a tertiary teaching facility in Darwin. The role involves further developing your clinical expertise by working alongside senior emergency physicians and specialists.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and advice on the management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
* Coordinate and facilitate diagnosis, patient management, and discharge planning
* Participate in continuous medical education, including teaching, professional development, research, and quality improvement activities

The hospital is a 360-bed facility offering services and care across a range of specialties, including cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, general medicine, rehabilitation, oncology, respiratory medicine, HITH, palliative care, renal, endocrinology, haematology, neurology, anaesthetics, ENT, urology, general surgery, O&G, paediatrics, and allied health services.

Eligibility
* General, Provisional, or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
* IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
* IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
* IMGs assessed by ACEM College as partially or substantially comparable
* Have experience working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar/Medical Officer
