About the role
Umina Beach Library is a well loved fixture in the local community, serving a diverse base of regular library users. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high quality library services and innovative programs to meet community needs, as well as drive increased engagement with Council Libraries, making the region a place of lifelong learning.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* You have a Diploma of Library and Information Services, or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role combined with ongoing professional development
* You have knowledge of Library and Information Services or Customer Service concepts and principles
* You have the ability to build effective relationships with staff and stakeholders including the ability to effectively resolve conflicts
* You enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise, while also learning from others

* The salary range for this position ranges between $63.6K - $76.4K plus 11.5% superannuation
* This is a Permanent full-time role
* This role will be able to access a 19 day month, working 140 hours over a 4 week period
* This role is located at Umina Beach Library
