Our kitchen operates 7 days a week, from 12.00pm to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Apprentice Chef located in Sale, VIC. The Apprentice Chef will assist in the daily preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring all food is delivered to a high standard. Responsibilities include learning and following recipes, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and assisting the head chef and kitchen staff as required. The role involves maintaining inventory, preparing ingredients, and following food safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Basic Cooking Skills, Knife Handling Skills, and a good sense of taste and smell
* Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
* Understanding of kitchen safety and food hygiene practices
* Teamwork and Communication Skills
* Strong Work Ethic and eagerness to learn
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary studies is a plus
* Willingness to undergo necessary training under supervision
