About the role: We are seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and increase sales within our distribution channels. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, retailers, and cross-functional departments to ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and initiatives. What you'll be doing? Trade Strategy Development: Assist in creating and implementing trade marketing strategies across various channels including pharmacy, health food and grocery, aligned with overall brand objectives and budget objectives. Promotional Campaigns: Design and execute trade promotions and incentives that engage retailers and boost product visibility, sales and ROI. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing insights to inform trade marketing efforts. Key Accounts: Partner with Key Accounts to develop and execute tailored marketing strategies for key retail accounts, ensuring alignment with both sales objectives and brand goals. Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Territory Sales team to equip them with sales tools, marketing collateral, and product training, to help them effectively communicate product benefits to retail partners. Point of Sale (POS) Materials: Develop and manage POS materials and merchandising displays to enhance in-store visibility and customer engagement. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, analyse results, preparing reports on performance metrics and ROI. Budget Management: Assist in managing the trade marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners, particularly their marketing and promotions teams, to maximize promotional opportunities and ensure alignment on marketing initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product development, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans. What we're looking for: Marketing qualification, business course, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in trade marketing, key account management, or sales. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), data analysis tools (IQVIA, Quantum). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
