As the IDAM Engineer for the RBA’s core modernisation project you will join the bank on a 2-year fixed term contract. This role is based at Baulkham Hills. Objectives Contribute to Identity and Access Management best practices and strategic process improvements and promote the implementation and adoption of automation technologies. Ensure Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) roles and access is controlled according to governance requirements. Perform configuration of identity and account life-cycle management, provisioning, and de-provisioning multiple connectors such as Directory Services (e.g. Entra ID, Active Directory) and HR systems. Lead Privileged Access Management solutions and functions, including the administration of Active Roles and its integration with IAM solutions. Manage digital certificate management, ensuring proper issuance, renewal, and revocation of certificates for secure communication. Work collaboratively with IT and Security Teams to refine and improve security compliance, manage risk, and bolster effectiveness of IT systems. Manage delivery of identity and access management solutions including, access and account support, identity governance, and network and system permissions. Contribute to Identity and Access Management best practices and strategic process improvements and promote the implementation and adoption of automation technologies. Skills required. Experience in administering Saviynt IGA for identity lifecycle management, role provisioning and access review processes. Hands-on expertise with Hashicorp Vault, securing sensitive credentials and ensuring automated access to secure environments. Strong working knowledge of Active Roles for PAM, managing privileged access and automating role provision for elevated privileges. Experience with digital certificate management, handling certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation processes. History of completing tasks and projects with minimal supervision. Experience with Change Management and ITIL processes in enterprise environments. Proven ability to integrate IAM solutions with on-premise and cloud-based applications using connectors and APIs. Knowledge of IAM risks and compliance requirements. Experience in unit, integration, and performance testing frameworks. Experience of programming or scripting security principles and best practices and developing across a range of relevant platforms using relevant general-purpose programming or scripting languages.
