Studio Music Tutors - Vocal and Instrumental (LOWER Strings)
Matthew Flinders Anglican College is widely recognised as one of Queensland's leading schools, providing an exceptional environment for our students to excel. Our extensive Music program is supported by an independent group of Studio Music Teachers who provide one-to-one tuition for students through an external contract arrangement.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
* Instrumental (Lower Strings) Music Tutor
* Vocal Music Tutor
Commencing in January 2025, the successful applicants will join our Studio Tuition Team to deliver high-quality, one-on-one lessons to students across both our Primary and Secondary campuses.
In addition to the rigorous and comprehensive Curriculum and Co-curricular programs, Flinders individual training program, run by a team of exceptionally skilled instrumental and vocal tutors, gives students the option of a one-on-one lesson in a specially tailored program devised to strengthen technique and expand musical expression.
Instrumental tutors are contracted to the College; however, parents are billed directly by the tutor so an ABN and relevant insurances and qualifications are essential.
Year 2 Immersion Program - The College implements a String Immersion Program in year 2 and currently an opportunity exists for a Lower Strings Tutor to deliver excellence in music education each Tuesday via one-on-one small group lessons across both the Primary and Secondary campuses. This position supports the development of Lower Strings technique and prepares students for exams and performances.
