Reporting to the Manager Risk and Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness of our enterprise risk management practices across Roy Hill and the broader Hancock group. This position is responsible for facilitating and executing activities that develop, maintain, and verify risk information crucial for decision-making and management reporting, including the development and maintenance of comprehensive risk profiles and management plans. Additionally, the Senior Advisor will support the enhancement of the organisation's risk management capabilities through targeted training and coaching initiatives. The role also extends to helping with ad-hoc governance, insurance, and audit-related assignments, ensuring a well-rounded approach to risk and assurance within the company. Duties Facilitate risk management workshops, reviews, and assessments, in accordance with the Risk Management Plan or in response to requests from the business. Support the coordination and execution of the requirements of all governance committees. Conduct regular site visits and establish relationships with key site-based management and team members. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Systems and Governance Management Policies, Procedures and Processes. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders such as internal Roy Hill business departments and the wider group of companies. Skills and experience Degree qualified, majoring in Commerce, Engineering, or other relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience in a risk position. Previous experience in Business Continuity Planning and Management, Disaster Recovery Management or Crisis Management. Knowledge and understanding of the application of enterprise risk management methodology, processes, and tools. Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of workshops.
