About the Role
We are partnering with a leading provider of innovative finance solutions in Australia and New Zealand. The Senior Compliance Analyst will play a key role in coordinating and guiding compliance strategies across ANZ businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and assess anti-money laundering risks, oversee anti-bribery and corruption governance, ensure adherence to data protection laws, and maintain compliance with international sanctions regimes.
* Conduct regular compliance testing, risk assessments, and investigations into potential breaches, recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities, ensure timely reporting and regulatory submissions and provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on risk and governance matters.
* Develop, review, and implement compliance policies and procedures, delivering training programs to enhance awareness and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
* Oversee compliance of loan agreements, consumer communications, credit advertising, and website content to mitigate legal risks.
* Ensure suppliers and business partners adhere to the group's compliance standards, preventing anti-competitive behavior.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a strong understanding of financial services regulations and a passion for risk management, you bring:
* 5+ years' experience in compliance, risk, or legal roles.
* Expert knowledge of relevant Australian and New Zealand financial regulations.
* Strong communication skills – able to influence, educate, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* High attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in compliance monitoring and reporting.
* Analytical mindset – capable of assessing risks, identifying control gaps, and implementing improvements.
* Stakeholder management skills – working collaboratively across departments and regulatory bodies.
