About this role: As an Education Sales Consultant (known internally as an Educational Consultant), you will be responsible for driving new business and fostering relationships with schools and educational institutions in your assigned regions. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working alongside our experienced sales teams with an Education Advisor, you will leverage your understanding of the needs of schools. You will present Renaissance's solutions in a way that resonates with educators and administrators. This role is critical to expanding our market presence and achieving growth targets while ensuring a consultative, educator-first approach.
Education Sales Consultant Role Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the education sector, focusing on schools and educational institutions in your assigned regions while building and nurturing relationships with school administrators, educators, and other key decision-makers to expand Renaissance's presence in the market. Leverage your EdTech sales experience to better understand the unique needs of schools and educators, tailoring Renaissance solutions to meet those needs. Effectively communicate the educational benefits of Renaissance's products, demonstrating how they improve learning outcomes and support teachers in the classroom. Attend tradeshows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to represent Renaissance, build networks, and gain insights into the evolving needs of the education sector. Speak at events, webinars, and other educational forums to showcase Renaissance solutions and expertise, positioning the company as a thought leader in the education space. Work closely with the Head of Sales to develop and implement strategies to drive growth in your region, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Collaborate with the customer success teams to deliver exceptional support and service to schools and institutes. Maintain an active engagement pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities to ensure steady progress toward objectives. Regularly report on engagement progress, pipeline health, and market insights to the Head of Sales to keep the leadership team informed. Skills and Experience required: To be considered to join our sales team, we are looking for an experienced EdTech Sales Consultant. You will have worked in EdTech sales and have a solid background in education, either through classroom teaching or working within the EdTech industry. A deep understanding of the challenges and needs of educators is essential to succeed in this role.
You will have or be:
Able to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools, with a strong aptitude for learning how to use CRM systems for managing client relationships and tracking progress. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships within the education sector. A team player who can work effectively with colleagues across multiple departments, including other education consultants, Education Advisors, and the marketing team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience or willingness to engage with the wider education community by attending events, speaking at forums, and presenting at webinars. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present educational concepts and solutions clearly. Additional information: We offer a base salary of up to $96,000.00 depending on experience (salary paid biweekly), plus a great OTE annually up to $64,000 in commission (paid monthly).
Our Educational Sales Consultant's role is a hybrid-based role out of our new offices in Darling Harbour, with all hybrid employees attending the office a minimum of 2 days a week.
