Reporting to the Head of eCom Operations, Business Enablement, the eCom Operations Lead - Payroll & Assurance holds a pivotal role within the eComX Business Enablement team, responsible for ensuring proper governance of high-risk activities and the application of control frameworks to effectively manage and safeguard our CFC teams, Homerun & Fulfilment contractors, customers, and the brand.
This role involves ensuring consistency in payroll & assurance programs related to compliance within Woolworths Group practices. This is achieved by providing clear guidance and upskilling to CFCs Site Leaders, Workforce Planners, Payroll & Admin Managers, and communities across the wider eComX team. You will oversee risk governance and assurance programs related to payroll, admin and compliance, maintaining relationships with labour hire and delivery partners (where appropriate) to ensure seamless integration into the Woolworths Group in areas such as safety, process, training, ways of working, and performance.
What you’ll do:
4. Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure key controls are designed and operating effectively across all related activities (site based; payroll, Admin and compliance activities)
5. Provide SME input into the design and operation of the Woolworths Group Business Payroll Governance system within eComX and CFCs
6. Manage and Deliver eComX Payroll program deployment into CFCs with the Payroll & Admin Manager and CFC leadership team
7. Upskill the CFCs teams including providing up to date reference guides that are routinely reviewed. Ensure process and guidance documentation is up to date, clear and simple for team for role related policies and procedures
8. Champion responsibility for supporting office/ Admin related activities including: Site Manager Credit cards, collectable coin campaigns, tobacco returns process support as it relates to the Payroll and Admin role duties
What you’ll bring:
This role will require having a solid knowledge across various enterprise agreements, payroll & time and attendance systems to ensure our controls and processes comply with entitlements outlined in these agreements
9. 5+ years experience in an FMCG/Retail environment with complex payroll experience
10. A strong track record in store services related areas including, payroll operations, compliance & governance
11. Proven warm and engaging style with cross-functional stakeholder management skills
12. Experience in analysing and distilling insight from large volumes of data
13. Detailed understanding of business drivers
14. Results orientated, relentlessly uncover challenges and collaborate with teams to find suitable solutions
15. Experience in large scale business change or transformation projects is highly desirable
