Project Manager - Brisbane Location About the Role We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee civil maintenance operations, managing both planned and reactive works.
This role is critical in ensuring the effective coordination of high-volume work orders, team leadership, and operational excellence in civil infrastructure maintenance.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 4-5 supervisors and a project engineer.
Oversee a diverse civil maintenance portfolio, including large-scale works and high-volume, low-value projects.
Manage subcontractors, cost reporting, project controls, and scheduling.
Ensure efficient work order management for tasks such as footpath repairs, water leaks, burst mains, and collapsed sewer mains.
Foster collaboration within the team and maintain high safety and quality standards.
Implement and utilize Microsoft Sweep for project tracking and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in civil maintenance management, preferably in the water sector.
Strong background in work order management, subcontractor coordination, and cost control.
Ability to manage high-volume projects with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Hands-on leadership experience managing supervisors and blue-collar teams.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Sweep or similar software.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Ability to pass a medical and D&A (drug & alcohol) screen.
