Job Title: Fund Reporting Analyst
Overview
A leading Asset Manager is seeking a skilled professional to cover a 12-month contract due to maternity leave.
This role is responsible for performing various reporting and client servicing tasks within the organisation. The successful candidate will drive efficiency and accuracy, ensuring timely completion of internal and external reports, as well as data management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare standard and customised client reports using sourced information from multiple databases to meet internal and external requirements.
* Review daily Unit Prices, sign off and investigate any discrepancies.
* Ensure proxy voting and corporate actions are lodged in a timely manner.
* Reconcile end of day trades to IRESS and send trade files to relevant parties.
* Calculate management fees for funds and mandates.
* Assist with Distribution calculations (1/2 year/full year).
* Oversee fund accounts audits.
* Engage with custodians.
* Maintain databases, websites, and systems on a timely and accurate basis.
* Deliver ad hoc reports and analysis for internal teams.
* Manage and execute incoming research reviews by liaising internally with Operations and Investment teams.
* Run pre/post trade compliance reports.
* Support operational tasks and act as a backup for Registry, performance, and accounting functions when required.
* Run morning reconciliations to ensure trades booked the prior day correctly reflect in IMS valuations.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar fund reporting/fund oversight role, ideally from an Asset Manager, if not Custodian or Fund services provider.
* Ability to work towards deadlines and strong attention to detail.
