MRAEL are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Fitter Machinist to join the team at SWB.
SWB was established over 50 years ago with branch networks extended to all of Australia. A hands-on attitude and innovative approach will keep them at the forefront of bearings and power transmission supply.

As an apprentice Fitter Machinist, you'll learn alongside experienced tradesmen and engineers to solve real problems in real time.
Key Responsibilities
* Workshop-based mechanical repairs, including gearboxes, pumps, and brakes
* Dismantling, cleaning, assessing, and measuring parts
* Machining using Lathe, Mill, and Slotter equipment
* Cleaning the workshop
* Some on-site work
* Workshop deliveries (local area)
* Assisting with maintaining workshop equipment
* Sand blasting and spray painting
Requirements
* A positive attitude to learning in the workplace
* A high level of mechanical aptitude
* The ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal
* The ability to operate equipment and systems
You must hold a current driver's license.
