Occupational Therapy Team Leader
Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Bass Coast Health. Our Occupational Therapy Team provides acute, sub-acute, community, and aged care services across multiple sites. Working closely with nursing, medical, and allied health colleagues, we deliver holistic, patient-centred care.
The Occupational Therapy Team Leader will provide leadership, support, and evidence-based assessments and interventions. They may work across various areas including inpatient wards, orthopaedics, sub-acute, and community settings. Involvement in weekend and public holiday services may also be required.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Master of Occupational Therapy or recognised equivalent
* Current and unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Victorian Driver’s licence
* A valid Police Check
* Working with Children’s Check
* NDIS Workers Check
* Flu Vaccination
Desirable
* Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory and practice.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Established understanding of person-centred care.
* Established commitment to the principles of continuous quality improvement.
* Established skills in organisation, planning and priority setting.
* Established leadership skills and focus on building teams within occupational therapy and the multidisciplinary team.
* Established skills in the development of services to meet the needs of the community.
* Ability to educate and support a team of occupational therapists to achieve evidence-based outcomes which align with national standards and clinical guidelines.
