The role The ER Advisor is responsible for general and complex case management, supporting leaders and employees across their business portfolios. As part of the Employment Relations team, they provide HR expertise on performance, conduct, absence, internal investigations, grievances, disputes, and external claims. Advise leaders on ER issues, providing coaching and education during live cases. Guide dispute resolution, interpret policies, and apply relevant legislation. Research issues, recommend solutions, and manage risk mitigation. Maintain communication with stakeholders and track case progress. Prepare and represent cases in Fair Work or other jurisdictions as needed. Manage workplace health and safety (WHS) cases in consultation with the WHS team. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Keep accurate records and collaborate with Senior People Business Partners and Advisors. Identify trends and propose solutions for systemic issues. Support strategic HR projects and drive process improvements. Stay current with legislation and escalate issues to the Head of ER, Remuneration, and Safety. Prepare reports and facilitate leadership development sessions. What experience you’ll bring Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or other relevant qualification(s) 1-2 years of ER/IR specific experience or 2-3 years HR generalist experience, including exposure to employment legislation, case management and advisory services to employees and leaders Demonstrated ability to balance conflicting priorities of demanding and diverse client groups within a changing environment Confidence to work across most leadership levels Resourceful logical thinker with excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent administrative skills Demonstrated propensity to discretion and confidentiality Ability to deliver expected outcomes and initiatives and act on opportunities for improvement Strong ability to synthesise information, analyse data and provide summary of analysis Advanced skill level in MS applications and HR systems (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) Team oriented, and results focused Our Perks Location Toowong Close to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.
