Strategy, Policy, and Industry (SP&I) Group is seeking executive assistants to support our mission. As an executive assistant in SP&I, your responsibilities will place you squarely in the eye of the storm, supporting crucial business requirements across the Group. The roles are demanding ones – but the rewards are more than equal to the challenges. These executive assistant roles are responsible for a range of key business needs in their Branch.While the roles are varied depending on the particular requirements of each Branch, you could expect to take on a broad range of tasks including providing executive support to the Branch Head, coordinating the flow of tasks and information across the Branch, ensuring sound Branch records and information management, maintaining workforce structures, handling Branch human resource requisitions, administering Branch security requirements, and implementing sound corporate governance.To be successful in these roles, a candidate will be outcome-focused with a high level of attention to detail and be able to engage constructively and provide assistance to a range of critical stakeholders, including Senior Executives.About our TeamSP&I Group is a fully integrated civilian-military workforce, drawing on high quality and motivated people from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines who embody Defence and Australian Public Service values.We offer flexible working arrangements and a range of formal and informal professional development opportunities.
