Our Client HAIR CANDY EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PTY LTD - ABN 26 662 415 410 – Located in Hope Island, QLD 4212 is seeking someone to take the position of Full-time Hairdresser for between $73,000 - $75,000 a year depending on skill level, INCLUDES Superannuation, Overtime and Penalty Rates also available.
DUTIES:
* Styling Hair with various tools and keeping up with the current trends by searching through social media and following influenced styles.
* Providing clients with expert hair care procedures.
* Selling the stores products to clients
* Washing hair, blow drying, straightening, styling hair.
* Using scissors to cut and style the clients hair to their preferred style.
* Working with clients to achieve their hair goals.
* Consulting with clients to work out the best action plan for their requests.
* Cleaning and tidy the workstation as well as the salon when it is needed.
* Draw up quotes for clients.
* Managing appointments.
* Taking phone calls to book in appointments or organise cancellations s well as giving over the phone rough estimated quotes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* At least 2 years fulltime work experience
* High standard of Colouring and cutting skills
* Someone who genuinely cares about the level of service they offer
* Someone who is down to earth
* Likes being a member of a small team
* Someone open to learning
