We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our team at the UGL/Altrad Joint Venture.This exciting opportunity is based at the Karratha Gas Plant, where you will oversee the Brownfield Implementation Services Project.Join us in delivering world-class results on a major project in Karratha, WA.About the Role The successful candidate will be Karratha-based (either as a local or through relocation) and will play a pivotal role in leading large, multidisciplinary teams.You will have strong leadership capabilities, particularly in safety management, ensuring the right culture is fostered and maintained within your teams.You will set and maintain expectations around quality outcomes and demonstrate a commitment to diversity and community engagement.This role requires a dynamic leader who is dedicated to meeting and exceeding performance benchmarks, safety standards, and project timelines while also contributing positively to the local community.Key Responsibilities Lead Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance, ensuring a proactive approach to safety and compliance with all regulations, focusing on both leading (proactive initiatives) and lagging (incident reporting) indicators.Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Woodside, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and effective issue resolution.Enforce the code of conduct, promoting ethical standards, professionalism, and compliance with corporate policies across all team members.Identify and develop talent, focusing on high-potential employees and ensuring a robust succession planning process to maintain future leadership strength.Optimize labour resources by efficiently allocating staff and adjusting workforce levels to meet project needs, while maximizing productivity.Engage with the local community, participating in and supporting local initiatives to enhance the project's reputation and contribution to the Karratha region.Champion diversity and inclusion, driving efforts to exceed project diversity commitments, fostering an inclusive and respectful team culture.Oversee budget management and cost control, ensuring project deliverables are met within budget and identifying areas for potential cost-saving opportunities.Monitor and improve quality control to ensure project outcomes meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.Ensure effective scheduling and progress reporting, maintaining up-to-date and accurate tracking of project milestones, workforce deployment, and task completion.Qualification and Experience Relevant Engineering or Construction Management qualification (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field), or extensive equivalent experience in a similar role.Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar leadership role in large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, ideally within the oil & gas, energy, or resources sector.Strong track record in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) leadership, with a deep understanding of safety regulations, leading/lagging indicators, and fostering a proactive safety culture.Demonstrated ability to manage and engage with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.Experience in labour optimization, resource allocation, and managing large, complex teams.Strong background in budget management and cost control, with a focus on meeting project deliverables within set budgets.Experience in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting an inclusive workplace culture, and meeting/exceeding diversity targets.Solid understanding of Brownfield projects, with experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Painting, Insulation, Fireproofing, and Access disciplines.Proven ability to manage quality control processes and ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed client expectations.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive, informed decisions in a fast-paced project environment.Experience with local community engagement, contributing to local initiatives and fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders.Excellent knowledge of project scheduling and progress reporting tools and methodologies.Strong communication and
