Your responsibilities will include conducting historian queries via spreadsheets or databases, scoping business requirements, capturing and mapping business processes, planning and monitoring projects, developing comprehensive dashboards and reports for users, performing exploratory data analysis, applying LEAN Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement, and automating workflows.Extract and transform data using SQL, SCADA systems, and MS Access database queries.Conduct historian queries via spreadsheets or databases.Utilize Power Query in Excel or Power BI for data extraction and transformation.Scope business requirements and engage with stakeholders across all levels.Capture and map business processes using MS Visio.Plan and monitor projects using MS Project, ensuring alignment with change management workflows.Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports for users.Perform exploratory data analysis using R markdown, Jupyter Python notebooks, and Power BI.Apply LEAN Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.Automate workflows using MS Excel VBA macros and Power Automate.What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Data Analyst position will hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You will have proven experience in data analysis, business analysis, and visualization within a mining or industrial environment. Your strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, MS Excel, and other data analysis tools will be essential for this role. Excellent communication skills are required to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
