A little about the role
This is a newly created position reporting to the Business & Placements Manager, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Key Assets QLD in both Placement and Social Work Services.
You will drive placement exploration, matching and promoting a proactive response to secure placements for children and young people in a timely manner, with assistance from the Social Work team.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Utilise and monitor the Unify database system for referrals, offers and confirmations of placement.
* Support the development of effective marketing strategies for both fostering vacancies and support opportunities.
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, particularly Placement Services Units and Child Safety Service Centres at various levels.
The base salary for this position is $72,832.50 - $78,097.50 /annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is full-time, ongoing.
About you
You will come with the following:
* Full, clean, open driver licence.
* Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) at a minimum.
* High level of customer service and communication skills.
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
* Experience with analysing data and making recommendations for action.
The below would be also be highly regarded:
* Diploma in Social Work, Human Services or relevant industry experience.
* Working knowledge of the Department of Child Safety, and relevant child protection legislation.
