The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Financial & Reporting Accountant to join our team and help drive business performance through the delivery of accurate financial insights and reporting. In this pivotal role, you will work across multiple areas, ensuring financial and tax reporting aligns with global best practices, all while supporting the business’s growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Financial & Management Reporting: Deliver accurate financial reports (management, statutory, tax). Improve reporting processes. Assist with year-end reporting, IFRS, and audits. Provide accounting insights to stakeholders. Internal Controls: Perform monthly reconciliations. Maintain internal controls and report exceptions. Support control reviews and audits. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax deliverables on time. Assist with transfer pricing documentation. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow). Ensure timely completion of Suntory's budget schedules. Business Partnering: Conduct P&L analysis and provide commentary. Manage departmental budgets and forecasts. Resolve stakeholder queries. Treasury Management: Oversee cash balances and inter-company transfers. Prepare monthly cash forecasts and manage FX hedging. Administrative Tasks: Manage purchase orders, invoices, and journal entries in SAP. Support overhead analysis in SAP BPC. What you bring: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a CA firm or comparable industry. Studying for or having completed CPA, CA, or equivalent qualifications. Strong technical accounting knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced). Self-motivated with a growth mindset. Strong analytical skills and logical thinking. Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills. A team player with a goal-oriented approach. The ability to work autonomously.
