We are hiring on behalf of a dedicated NDIS service provider seeking a compassionate and experienced Disability Support Worker. This role involves supporting a young NDIS participant with mental health.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide assistance and prompting with personal care.
2. Support with school drop-offs Monday to Friday.
3. Collaborate with the participant's family to ensure continuity of care.
About You:
* Experience working with children with ASD is highly desirable.
* Patient, reliable, and empathetic in approach.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proactive and supportive in assisting the participant's daily routines.
Qualifications (Preferred):
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or related fields.
* Current First Aid and CPR certification.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
* Experience with behaviour management strategies (advantageous).
