Wyong Race Club has been a cornerstone of the local community since 1875. We offer premier track and training facilities in regional New South Wales and host a variety of events through our family-friendly function centre, supported by our expert in-house catering team. Our venue is recognised for its hospitality and versatility, catering to both race days and a range of corporate and private functions.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality and Events Manager to lead and grow our hospitality and events department. This role will oversee all functions, race day events, and food & beverage operations to ensure a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with general management to develop and grow the Club’s functions and events business.
* Lead food and beverage operations, ensuring all services meet budget guidelines and brand standards.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute numerous functions, race days, and special events throughout the year.
* Manage suppliers and procurement processes to maintain quality while controlling costs.
* Oversee the creation of function-specific menus, drink selections, and event packages.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to promote Club functions and events.
* Build, train, and lead a hospitality team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
* Manage a team across food and beverage, bar, kitchen, and event coordination functions.
* Contribute to the growth and development of the team and department, moving towards full-time executive roles in the future.
