This position will also contribute to national and regional policy through research and professional leadership, while supporting the broader health services research and education initiatives of MCRRH.The Supervisor Training Program (STP) for Psychology and Allied Health is an accredited training program approved by the Psychology Board of Australia. It is designed for both new and experienced supervisors and serves as an interprofessional program that also fulfills AHPRA's requirements for accrediting psychologists as supervisors.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will hold current general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), with no conditions, and be a PsyBA-approved supervisor with at least five years of experience. They will have experience delivering training workshops, grading assessments, and managing remote workloads while meeting training deadlines. Proficiency in remote and online technology, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential. The candidate should also demonstrate a strong competency in cultural and social diversity.ABOUT THE MURTUPUNI CENTRE FOR RURAL AND REMOTE HEALTHThe Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health (MCRRH) is a federally funded nationally networked University Department of Rural Health with additional funded vertical programs and key performance indicators set by the Department of Health specifically focused on health workforce.
