Your contributions will directly influence our growth and success.Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive base salary +, plus superannuation.Dynamic Role: Engage in a vital company role offering variety and impactful responsibilities.Supportive Environment: Thrive in a collaborative and innovative team that values continuous improvement and efficiency.Responsibilities and DutiesOverseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.Assisting in site set-out and interpretation of design drawings in conjunction with the Construction Engineer and Foreman.Assisting in selecting work methods to complete works as per the project specification.Processing of subcontractor progress claims in conjunction with the Construction Engineer and Project Manager.Monitoring of quantities of materials used versus quantities of materials allowed for in tender.Participating in regular construction meetings to discuss site issues and develop solutions.Completing and processing progress claims in conjunction with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Engineer.Preparing project-specific quotes for the client or site superintendent in conjunction with the Senior Construction Engineer.Organising of quality testing/supervision required for the project.Monitoring of site environmental controls in conjunction with the Construction Engineer and Foreman.Updating of the project cashflow/claim predictions in conjunction with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Engineer.Ensure all site personnel are competent for the tasks for which they are being asked to perform.Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment & Control for all sites.Participate in project pre-planning to allocate sufficient skills and resources to adequately complete the project.Approval of SWMS and Project Management Plan before use on projects.Participate in tender handover upon successful award of the project.Completion of and reference to WGI systems documentation, in consultation with the OHS Manager, Project Manager, Foreman and site crew where relevant.MRPV Contract experience favourable but not necessaryPre-employment check:Drugs and Alcohol ScreenFull Medical ReportPolice CheckFull Driver History ReportMust be an Australian Citizen or hold a working visaReady to Make an Impact?Join Whelans Group, where your skills and expertise will be valued, and your contributions will play a vital role in our exciting growth journey.
