Our Opportunity
Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 7 days, 7 off - Role open to residential or FIFO options.
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and motivated Plumber to join our Infrastructure Services Team. This permanent full-time position within our department will provide safe, effective and timely repair and maintenance to our equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Experience diagnosing, repairing and installation of commercial, domestic and industrial plumbing systems.
Schedule maintenance and breakdown fault finding on a wide range of infrastructure equipment.
Liaise with the planning team to ensure planned maintenance schedule is implemented.
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Fortescue’s Safety policy and procedures and in line with relevant Australian Standards.
Maintain RO plants across site.
Ensuring water quality is compliant with Department of health.
Qualifications and Experience
Plumbers contractor's license.
Minimum WA C Class Driver's Licence.
Extensive maintenance & fault finding experience essential.
Demonstrated expertise in mining would be an advantage.
