About The Role:
Are you passionate about supporting older Australians to live independently? Adventist Senior Living is dedicated to serving northern New South Wales, and we’re seeking a skilled Scheduler and Administrative Professional to join our Lake Macquarie/Hunter Home Care team. Based at our Cooranbong office, this fulltime role is key in assisting our Home Care Manager and team to provide high-quality care and support to our clients.
What you’ll Do:
Optimise Rosters: Ensure service consistency, match worker skills to client needs, and publish rosters that comply with EA requirements.
Drive Efficiency: Collaborate with the Home Care Manager and scheduling team to develop effective practices that reduce downtime and improve service delivery.
Support Daily Operations: From client invoices, financial checks to petty cash and administration management, you'll be essential in keeping everything running smoothly.
Provide Exceptional Service: Use your top-notch communication and customer service skills to interact warmly with clients, staff, and visitors.
About You:
Experienced in scheduling and administration in care or health services.
Desirable, Certificate III or IV in Office Administration or equivalent.
Exceptional customer service with a professional phone manner.
Compliant with scheduling requirements, including service consistency and EA roster standards.
Detail-oriented with administration and financial tasks, including invoice processing and petty cash management.
Strong team player, collaborating effectively with the Home Care team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, rostering systems, basic financial, maintenance, clinical care, and governance database tools.
Passionate about supporting clients' independence, health, and well-being.
Essentials for working in Aged Care:
Australian Working Rights
Current and/or ongoing Flu and Hepatitis B Vaccinations
Current, Open Driver’s License
Willingness to:
Obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check
Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment
