The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.
The Opportunity
The Director Executive Support is responsible for:
1. providing high-level strategic support and advice to the Director General and Executive Director to support the delivery of Strategic, Corporate, Ministerial and Parliamentary responsibilities,
2. overseeing executive management and support functions for the Director General and Executive Director, including the preparation for Meetings, Media Strategies, Speeches and Diary oversight,
3. maintaining high-level contact with a wide range of key internal and external stakeholders to support the provision of high quality and timely advice to the Director General and the Executive Director,
4. providing leadership and strategic direction across the Department, in the coordination of Strategic Policy advice to the Director General and Executive Director, and
5. other projects, research and coordination as directed by the Director General and Executive Director.
