Randstad is currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer for a state government department.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance to support the efficient and timely completion of infrastructure projects. They will utilise a range of electronic software programmes, databases, and information systems to provide high-level support to Project Managers and teams within the Technical Services Unit.
Key Duties
* Providing thorough administrative support to project managers and team members.
* Organising team meetings, recording and circulating meeting minutes.
* Preparing reports and documentation, creating and managing spreadsheets and presentations.
* Assisting the procurement team with financial and project administration.
* Data entry and tracking of project documentation.
* Updating and maintaining databases.
Skills/Experience Required
* Current holder of Class C driver's licence.
* Prior project support experience in the construction/infrastructure industry.
* Ability to perform financial, procurement, and project administration tasks.
* Liaising with stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineers, and external parties.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience with information management systems and databases.
