THE OPPORTUNITY This is an opportunity for a start-up accounting professional as a Junior Accountant who will be an essential member of a firm’s foundation team, having recently acquired local firms on the Gold Coast. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support Senior Accountants and Partners Handle complete tax compliance Initiate client interaction to build relationships Assist in tax advice preparation Identify avenues for client business growth EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Junior Accountant or Undergraduate Accountant with 1 years' experience in Australian CA or CPA firm Pursuing or planning to pursue CA/CPA certification Familiarity with current tax legislation, applying it under partner guidance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated initiative, self-confidence, and problem-solving abilities Effective in both independent and team environments Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Proficient in Handisoft, MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero, and Microsoft Office Eager to develop a fulfilling career Enthusiastic about aiding client business growth THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Access CPD training and coaching from industry experts.
