Join Our Team as an Educational Assistant: This is a unique role in a leading Ed Tech company. KSOL is searching for an enthusiastic, innovative Education Assistant who thrives in a creative and supportive environment. This unique position is perfect for someone with a blend of skills that can be applied towards content creation and helping deliver courses alongside teachers at our education centres. If you have completed a degree in the UK or have recently graduated with a heavy essay or maths-based degree and think you can significantly make an impact in the classroom and the EdTech sector, we invite you to embark on this rewarding journey with us. Key Responsibilities: Academic Content Creation: Utilise your fresh energy and perspectives to design and develop engaging Key Stage 2 educational materials. Your task is to make maths and English accessible and engaging for young learners through your creativity. We will provide full training on how to use Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and TargetTeach. Video Production: Learn how to edit content and create educational material that stands out on our digital platforms. Your videos will make learning a visual, interactive experience for students across the globe. (Again, we will train you to be comfortable with video editing technology and how to best stand behind or in front of a camera. We are not after divas, but a well-dressed and presentable character goes a long way). Educational Research and Writing: Collaborate with our marketing team to produce blogs that engage and enlighten our community with the latest learning strategies, success stories, and educational insights. Teaching and Marking Support: Work alongside qualified teachers at our KSOL teaching centres and online environments. Add your unique touch to the teaching process and offer valuable feedback on student assignments. Your insights and personality will be instrumental in tailoring our educational strategies. The teaching centres are run on a Saturday morning and weekday evenings so this position requires you to work up to two early evenings and Saturday mornings (We ensure you never lose out on your weekend as you only work four days during the working week if you do a Saturday and never more than 37.5 hours in a week). Remote Teaching: Under the guidance of a qualified teacher, you will have the opportunity to connect with students via our cutting-edge remote learning platforms, delivering sessions that are as inspiring and motivating as they are educational. Your role will ensure that our students walk away from their sessions enlightened and clearly understand their academic journey. Events: Participate in our quarterly educational events, where you leverage your organisational and time management skills to ensure the successful execution of marketing or educational events. About You: You have a talent for listening, making things easy to understand, and telling stories that can aid learning. Your passion lies in education and marketing, and you love discovering innovative and engaging techniques to teach maths and English. You enjoy collaborating with others, have a strong interest in education, and strive to be the best. You understand the importance of presenting yourself professionally, as it displays you are always ready.
