**Role Overview**
The Assistant Director, Countering Foreign Interference Partnerships will play a crucial role in strengthening and coordinating Australia's response to foreign interference.
This position is part of the Counter Foreign Interference Coordination Centre (CFICC), which works across government, the private sector, and the wider community to raise awareness and build resilience against foreign interference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the National Counter Foreign Interference Coordinator in developing and implementing strategies to counter foreign interference
* Collaborating with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential threats
* Providing expert advice on foreign interference matters and contributing to policy development
* Managing partnerships and building relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a related field, such as national security, intelligence, or international relations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to manage complex projects and priorities, with a focus on delivering results
Working Arrangements:
This is an ongoing, full-time position based in Canberra. Flexible working arrangements can be negotiated in accordance with our Enterprise Agreement and the operational requirements of the role.
