Job Description: Position Summary Responsibility for the effective resourcing and management of the Northern Region Branch on a daily basis.
Ensuring that all sales performance targets are achieved in a safe work environment and that all Terex Jaques strategic and operational guidelines are followed.
Responsibilities Manage the sales, aftermarket and administrative team members.
Active management of the P&L and Sales Forecasting for the Branch.
Compile annual operational budget in conjunction with Financial Controller.
Manage branch work in progress (WIP).
Lead weekly communication meetings.
Effectively manage maintenance contracts.
Maintain appropriate working relationships with major suppliers.
Employee development, succession planning, training and performance management.
Liaise with company management, especially in the area of preparation of forecasts and budgets to meet overall objectives for the company.
Collaborate with interstate branches to ensure effective development of the Terex Jaques business.
Meet customer expectations.
Maintain up to date customer relationship management system details .
Participate in the preparation of equipment sales tenders and support sales presentations.
Market parts and service capability to existing and new customers, manage and optimize the parts inventory holdings.
Gain pre-qualification of suppliers in conjunction with National Parts Manager.
Outside of standard work hours contact – due to the seniority and nature of this role there is a degree of reasonable out of hours contact.
Reasonable contact may include but not limited to meetings, emails and phone calls where required, which may be scheduled or urgent.

Ensure compliance to the Terex Australia policy, procedures and work instructions, documented quality system, and all OH&S procedures, policies and work instructions.
In addition, ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Any other duties as required to fulfil the requirement of this role or directed including taking part in any training as required.
Position Qualifications Experience Tertiary qualifications in engineering or Business Management/Commerce, highly desired.
Background in management, 5 plus years, preference in crushing/Heavy industry.
Experience in the industrial maintenance and repair business.
Skills Strong Mechanical aptitude.
High degree of professionalism and ability to lead by business objectives.
Strong leadership and team building skills.
Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with customers.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Technical knowledge to understand and communicate equipment details.
Flexibility to be able to travel to regionally, interstate and overseas occasionally.
