As a Radiographer Level 2, you will be expected to perform all aspects of radiographic imaging according to departmental and District policies, procedures and guidelines.
This role encompasses the optimal service provision of high-quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography, intra-operative image intensification, mobile radiography, dental and BMD imaging, digital screening, CT, DSA and other services in a PACS environment.
In addition, the successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures. You will be expected to participate in the development and upgrading of clinical protocols and techniques. Effective communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to team building, quality assurance and high standards of patient care are expected.
About You
1. You possess the relevant qualifications and licensure/registration to practice as a Radiographer. This includes EPA Authority NSW, AHPRA registration and relevant tertiary education: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science), or hold qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD.
2. You are capable of demonstrating a high level of competency and show a high standard of clinical practice and decision making, including the capacity to critique diagnostic image quality in order to maintain compliance with clinical management and reporting standards.
3. You can manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment including the capability to respond to patient needs with the capacity to mould clinical practice to patient presentation.
