Exciting opportunity available for a Plumbing Senior Technical Advisor to join the VBA on a fixed-term basis.
Fixed-term 12-month, full-time position
Salary range: $106,534 to $117,716 per annum plus superannuation

Position Overview
An exciting and challenging fixed-term opportunity that will suit a seasoned Plumbing Technical Advisor who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As the Senior Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical plumbing advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, responding to issues and enquiries, developing documentation, reports and briefings, liaising with industry, supporting technical committees/boards, and providing specialised technical services.
What We Are Looking For:
* Licenced or registered for a class or classes of prescribed plumbing work under the Building Act 1993 (Victoria).
* Detailed knowledge and application of the plumbing regulatory framework including the Building Act, Plumbing Regulations, and National Construction Code and other relevant legislation.
* Experience providing high-quality technical advice to a range of stakeholders, including the ability to build, maintain, and negotiate strategic outcomes.
* Ability to communicate information effectively and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders over the phone, in person, and in email.
* Written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare highly complex technical reports.
